Storm Point.

The map: Yellowstone Lake. The arrow: Storm Point Trail. We did it in 2012 and just loved it. It's my favorite walk in the park.

We got a little delayed at the trailhead by a grazing bison.

The Tour Director being (more or less) patient:

He finally moved across the road.

The first third of the trail crosses a swampy area, enters the forest, and then begins skirting the lake. Needless to say, you're watching for bears.

A little secret: the Tour Director, in the throes of animal hunger, doubles as a chipmunk whisperer.
