98% of the park is in Wyoming and the other two is in Montana. We headed out the North Entrance of the park through the famous Roosevelt Arch (for Teddy, not Franklin), and turned right into Gardiner, MT.
We were there for groceries, gas, and... lunch.
At the grocery store, essentials to a Yellowstone vacation: soda, candy, a bear keg (get it?) to keep Yogi from your food, and bear spray.
And back into Wyoming and the park.
