Hot air.

   
     We've completed the long southern loop and we're now on the northeast side of the museum, near Congress Pool...


     ...named in 1891 when the Fifth International Geological Congress met in Yellowstone. Some might say it's called Congress Pool because it's such a prolific producer of smelly hot air.


   
     These next five are all taken from the stretch of boardwalk overlooking Porcelains Springs, Blue Geyser, and Whirligig Geysers.
