The North Rim Trail.

     We decided to chance the iffyness and walk to the lookouts along the North Rim. This is a look down at the boardwalk of Red Rock trail, which we'll be taking in a day or so but skipped this time due to the threat of Mr. Rain and already squishy shoes.

     We didn't see a lot of animals on this trip but there were a few exotics. I imagine this one, which we couldn't identify, is endemic to Yellowstone, or at least to the West. I was downwind from the beast and quietly stole this photo.

    We saw an osprey float in and land on an aerie.
