Whirlwind.

I think I'm just now realizing what a whirlwind day this was. We're back up the road to Nez Perce Creek again for another picnic, this time on a curve of the creek to the Northwest of the parking lot. We've finished our food...

... and I'm taking a few pictures while Sandi writes in her journal.

This next was taken by holding the flowers in front of the bright, bright sun on the water, and blowing the flash.

     Dandelion.

Back to Fountain Paint Pots for a quick walk. You see a lot of this at the better known features: pay attention to the guy with the flag or you miss the bus.

I don't recall noticing this my first time through these pictures: that's Sandi sitting on the end of the bench as the group has their picture taken in front of Clepsydra. She learned her people-watching skills from the master, her mother.
