Fountain Paint Pots.

     The famous Fountain Paint Pots are in the Lower Geyser Basin, about halfway between the Upper Geyser Basin and Madison junction. Here's a little map.

      Fountain Paint Pots. Think glub...be-burb...gargle...     gurgle...bloop...be-doop...     pop...gleep...burble...   bubble...bubble...toil and trouble. And watch yourself--if they're particularly angry, they'll blow hot mud on you.
