     Boo. Hoo.

Leaving Yellowstone this morning for our drive back to Idaho Falls. We're going to drive through Grand Teton National Park and then over Teton Pass. Here's a map showing the relationship of Yellowstone to GTNP.

Here's a more detailed map of GTNP, with two arrows added.

The first arrow, shooting right through Jackson Lake, points to Colter Bay, where in 2012 we rented a cabin for three nights. We drove past our cabin and down to the lake, and stopped in at the Visitors Center to use the can.

Here's the view from their deck.

Just south of Colter Bay we pulled into the turnoff overlooking Willow Flats, known for the occasional moose, and where we did see a cow and her calf from a distance in 2012.

Mount Moran, Elevation: 12,605' As you can see, we had to endure still another lousy weather day.
