Lake Yellowstone.

We drove to  Lake Yellowstone and checked into our cabin--we're in the one on the right, the last one in the cul-de-sac.

Moving from the Tower-Roosevelt Frontier cabin to the Lake Yellowstone Cabin was like moving from the Motel Six on the interstate to the Ritz-Carlton in Manhattan. They were clean, roomy, and bright. I'd like to spend the entire vacation here and travel to the other areas of the park, but Frau Tour Direktor stomped her foot and threw a hissy fit when I suggested it. Sigh.

The sink was right around the corner, with the shower and toilet in a separate room beyond.

     Back out to Lake Yellowstone.

What's left after a forest fire.

This is Lake Lodge, a 10 minute walk from The Lake Hotel and a five minute walk from our cabin.

We ate dinner in the Lake Lodge cafeteria; you can see Sandi's jacket on the right.

We turned in early after another full day.
