I thought Wednesday was a whirlwind of activity. Thursday was a tornado, and we never even got in the car.

Off into the basin. These are cyanobacterial thermophilic formations in the hot water around Plume and Giantess geysers.
The sun is up in the cloudless sky, and we're wondering if SPF4000 sunblock is adequate. Do they make SPF 1 million?
We knew that the window to Riverside Geyser was open, and having seen it in 2012 we knew we wanted to see it erupt again. Off we go, past Aurum,
