Riverside.

There are 410 geysers in the Upper Geyser Basin, and if any of them is must-see, it's Riverside. We badly wanted to see it again this trip. (Read about Riverside here).

     Waiters.

As Riverside erupts for as long as twenty minutes, you can, while you wait, walk another five minutes down the trail, cross the bridge over the Firehole, and see the famous Morning Glory Pool. My photos aren't even close to doing it justice. It's a 23-foot deep oval of about 23 by 27 feet, with a water temperature of 172 degrees, and, due to its colors and shape, it's named after, of course, the Morning Glory flower.

You'll be able to hear Riverside when she blows, and return for the show.

That would be Sandi there on the right.
