     We're driving from Mammoth to Tower-Roosevelt. The leftish red arrow points to Undine Falls; the centerish arrow to Blacktail Plateau Drive.

     Since we were beginning to trust our little SUV and it was a beautiful day, we decided to take the Blacktail Plateau Drive. It was a little pitted, potholed, washboarded, rutted, and scary, and we saw almost no animals, but it was worth it for the views. Did I mention it was a beautiful day?
