...it was off to the parking lot of Fairy Falls Trail. The beginning of the trail passes behind (south) of Grand Prismatic Spring, and, assuming you have the courage, you can climb the steep slopes to the left of the trail for a great view of Grand Prismatic Spring. Dangerous but worth it.
